A COMMEMORATIVE bench has been unveiled in memory of a Bromsgrove-based police officer
PC Stephen Harris, who was a response officer with Worcestershire Operational Patrol Unit (OPU), tragically died after a crash in Birmingham on August 28 last year.
The commemorative bench was bought and placed at Bromsgrove in his memory at Bromsgrove Police and Fire Station.
The unveiling was attended by West Mercia Police Chief Constable Pippa Mills and members of Stephen’s family and colleagues.
His family described him as a loving, caring person, adding he worked hard all his life and loved his job as a police officer which he had held for 12 years.
