Rednal's Colmers Sixth-Form teams up with Bromsgrove Bears so students can explore their love of basketball

A REDNAL sixth form college has partnered with the Bromsgrove Bears to give students the opportunity to explore their love for basketball alongside studying.

Colmers Sixth Form will start the link-up in September 2022 for students taking three A Level courses or BTEC Level 3 studies.

In addition to full access to academic courses, the Academy will offer a weekly training session on Wednesday afternoons.

Academy students will also be offered a range of coaching courses to develop their sporting expertise and will be able to gain a Sports Leadership Qualification.

The sixth form said whether students want sport to remain a life-long interest or a future career, the pathway on offer will provide life-changing opportunities.

It will also help them access sport-related university courses or professional sporting activity.
