A BROMSGROVE care home has raised over £500 for charity with its ‘Breakfast At Tiffany’s’ themed Macmillan Coffee Morning.
Burcot Grange and Lodge welcomed residents, families, staff, and other members of the local community for the themed coffee morning.
The bistro and lounges were decorated with Tiffany blue boxes, pearls and necklaces, and guests were treated to breakfast nibbles and homemade cakes.
Games included “What’s in the Tiffany Box?” and the ‘Spotty Cake’ challenge, where guests guessed the number of green spots on the tasty treat for the chance to win it and take it home.

One family said they really enjoyed the breakfast twist, which ‘offered something different to the traditional coffee morning format.’
For the team at Burcot, supporting Macmillan holds deep personal meaning, with many staff and residents have experienced the impact of cancer first-hand and Macmillan’s support has made a lasting difference to their families.
Burcot Grange and Lodge’s General Manager, Vicky Osborne, said: “Macmillan is a cause that’s very close to our hearts here at Burcot. We wanted to create something a little different this year, and our ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ theme proved a big success.
“The atmosphere was wonderful, and we’re so proud to have raised over £500. A huge thank you to our residents, families, and everyone who joined us to make this event so special.”
