CLIMATE change campaigners will be holding a march in Bromsgrove town centre on Saturday, November 6, as part of a Global Day of Action coinciding with the COP26 summit.
Participants should meet at the Queen’s Head car park at the top end of the High Street at 10.45am.
The procession – aimed at highlighting environmental issues and demanding the UK ends support for fossil fuels – will then snake down the High Street.
Those gathered will speak to interested residents and distribute leaflets.
A spokesperson for Bromsgrove Climate Action, which has organised the march, said:
“The Government must stop plans for a new coal mine in Cumbria and the Cambo Oilfield.
“This will be one of many actions across the country organised by the COP26 Coalition, which includes Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace, XR, Trades Unions, Grassroots Movements and many others.
“Please join us if you can.”
