THIS year’s annual toy appeal has been launched by Andy and Gemma Cartwright and Sainsbury’s Longbridge.
A donation point has now opened at the store for people to drop of items which will go to children who might otherwise not have any presents to open on Christmas morning.
This is the sixth year the appeal has taken place and the drive usually gets a fantastic response from the south Birmingham community.
The organisers are hoping for a similar response this year.
Andy said: “The kindness of our community always shocks me especially around Christmas, these presents will make such a positive difference.”
