Catshill’s lights switch-on will also be on November 22 – from 3pm at the village hall.
Wythall
Wythall will be illuminated during an event from 4.45pm on November 28 at The War Memorial, Gorsey Lotts.
Rubery, Barnt Green and Hagley
On November 29, there will be three switch-ons – Rubery’s from 3pm on the Co-op car park, Barnt Green’s will be from 3.30pm in Millennium Park and Hagley’s will take place from 4pm on Worcester Road.
Alvechurch
Alvechurch’s Christmas lights switch-on takes place from 4pm on November 29 in The Square outside Co-op and the lights in will be illuminated with a street party from 3pm on December 14 in the centre of the village.
Aston Fields
And the countdown to illuminate Aston Fields will take place with a street party in the centre of the village from 3pm on December 14.
Bromsgrove District Council leader, Coun Karen May, said: “Once again there is an amazing line-up of festive fun across the district and what’s more, they are all free.”
Special postcards have been created to detail all the events – both in the town centre and the villages across the district.
These are being distributed through local libraries and at the Council House, Parkside.
People can also find out more about the various events at the Parkside customer service centre.
