CHILDREN from year one at Rednal Hill Infant School held its very own Carfest in the school playground to support them learning about ‘Where Do we Live’.
A community effort saw a fire engine, motorbike and several Austin Rover cars manufactured at Longbridge – now MG.
The interesting and cosy caravan captured the children’s imagination along with a range of electric cars.
The school’s business manager Denise Brooke said: “The children were very excited to look at the different types of vehicles – they will be designing, making and evaluating their own vehicles over the next few weeks.
“A very big thank you to our local community who helped to create an unforgettable event, especially Northfield Fire Station, The Pride of Longbridge, The Bromsgrove and District MG Owners Club and Rover Enthusiasts West Midlands.”
