A NIGHT of entertainment will take place at Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club to help raise funds for Bromsgrove’s Men In Sheds and help people banish the winter blues.

‘The Cheeky Beggars’ show, from 7pm to 10pm next Friday, January 24, will feature singer and entertainer Warren Simmons, singer and guitarist Billy Roco and comedy from the Standard’s own Tristan Harris.

All the cash raised will go to the Age UK Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest group which runs the ‘Shedders’ group.

Men In Sheds helps tackle loneliness and social isolation in older people by providing a place where they can come together to work on DIY projects, share their skills and make new friends.

Ticket are £10 and include a fish and chip supper (alternative options are available).

Call Jo Hughes at Age UK BRWF on 01527 868855, email her at [email protected] or visit www.ageuk.org.uk/brwf/activities-and-events/men-in-sheds/ for more information and tickets.
