A CHARITY single for Libby Mae’s Little Angels will be officially launched today on what would have been Libby Mae’s fifth birthday.

The charity founders Richard and Charlotte Sharratt joined forces with Birmingham singer Laura Aston for ‘Remember Me’ in memory of their daughter Libby Mae.

The charity founded by the parents has so far raised almost £300,000 for local hospitals via events, fund-raising and their Libby Mae Day.

Singer Laura, who has performed with Jake Quickenden and at many high profile events, said: “This cause means so much to me, the least I could do was donate this song to the family.

“We had the studio time donated to us and everyone has been so supportive.”

The single will be played at an event in Birmingham tonight to mark Libby Mae’s fifth birthday and will go on sale on iTunes and Google Play after that with all proceeds going to the Libby Mae charity. The single is available now to pre-order.

Mum Charlotte said they had been overwhelmed by the support for the charity’s events and fund-raising.

“We are so lucky so many people help us to raise funds in memory of Libby, Laura has done such a kind thing recording the single, we cant wait to see her perform it live.”

Libby Mae’s has a huge celebrity backing including Housewives of Cheshire and Hollyoaks stars and it is growing by the day.

It continues to fund-raise with an annual golf day the black tie ‘Circus Ball’ held at the Burlington Hotel in October where will Dancing on Ice winner Jake Quickenden perform for guests.
