A CHARITY race night at Stoke Prior Sports and Country club will be held to raise vital cash for a charity set up to honour the memory of a local teenage boy.
The race night will take place at 7.30pm on Friday, October 17, with proceeds going to the HB9 Harry Bennett Foundation.
HB9 was founded in memory of Harry Bennett, who tragically passed away from sepsis in 2020 at just 16 years old.

The foundation looks to honour Harry’s passion for sport and his belief in its power to change lives.
It aims to support people and teams so more people can enjoy the physical and mental benefits sport brings.
Mark Goddard, manager at Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club, said: “We’re asking everyone to grab their free ticket and come along for an exciting night of racing fun.
“The more people who join us, the more we can raise for HB9 in Harry’s memory.
“It’s free to get in, there are prizes to be won and every bet and raffle ticket helps make a difference – so don’t miss it.”
Mark and co-manager James Maycroft got into the spirit of the event as they met up with Bear Claws – a racehorse who only retired last week after a successful career on the track.

Guests can look forward to nine races on the big screen – three horse races, three dog races and three pig races.
Further fundraising will take place on the night, including a raffle, with all cash going to the foundation.
Entry to The Great Charity Race Night is free, but the venue is asking people to secure a complimentary ticket online so numbers can be managed in advance.
The Race Night is strictly for over-18s when it comes to betting, but everyone is welcome to come along and be part of the event.
