A CHARITY golf day will be held at Blackwell Golf Club on March 19 to raise funds for Baby Ava’s Foundation.
It will start with registration from 11am to 11.45am, featuring a breakfast of bacon rolls, tea and coffee.
There will then be a talk on the charity and the shotgun start at 1pm.
The event, which will finish at 6pm, will also feature a finger buffet, auction, prize-giving and a raffle.
It costs £75 per person and a week in a home in Florida (not including flights) donated by Collect My Debt is first prize for nearest the pin.
Baby Ava’s Foundation was launched by Richard Atkinson after his and his wife Adele’s baby Ava passed away in 2014.
The charity provides memory boxes to bereaved parents so they can remember their little ones.
The pair received a memory box when they lost Ava so know how much it means.
The foundation turns three in March and has so far raised £150,000.
Call Richard on 07703 826931 for more on the golf day or to book places.
