Chadsgrove School's play area campaign gets cash boost

Bromsgrove Editorial 4th Apr, 2026   0

THE CROWDFUNDING campaign by Chadsgrove School to create a new learning and play area has been given a £1,181.62 boost by Bromsgrove Sporting FC and its sponsor Elliott Nash, Andres De Miguel.

Representatives from Chadsgrove were invited to Sporting’s match with Sudbury in support of the efforts to develop the playground.

A total of £181.62 was collected on the day and then Elliott Nash donated £1,000 on top of the amount pledged.

A cheque was handed over to the school by Bromsgrove Sporting captain Aaron Roberts and manager Tim Flowers.

A Chadgrove Shool spokesperson said: “We thank Sporting so much for their support.

“This will help make a real difference for our pupils.”

The school is currently looking to transform its playground by removing all broken and inaccessible equipment, including the flooring and grass mound, to create an open level area which is safe and accessible for all pupils to play, learn and thrive.
