STAFF and children at Dodford First School are celebrating after being awarded the ECO-Schools Green Flag status for the third time in a row.
The school’s Green Team has introduced new topics to focus on over the last two years including Transport and Marine.
Most recently, every pupil worked on a Marine project to promote the need to reduce plastics from entering the waterways.
The standard of work was phenomenal and the message to reduce the use of single use plastics was well-received.
Other school projects included a Swap Shop, Fairtrade bakes and the aim to reduce the speed limit outside school to 30mph.
Class teacher and Eco Lead Miss Stanley said: “We are so proud of our achievement.”
