A BEST-selling Bromsgrove writer is celebrating hitting a huge milestone this week – selling 1million copies of her novels.

Sue Watson, 56, has written 18 books over the past eight years, with many topping the UK bestseller’s lists.

The former BBC producer began writing hit romantic comedy novels in 2014, but has more recently moved to the darker side, writing gripping psychological thrillers.

Her book ‘The Sister In Law’ recently reached number three in Amazon UK’s bestseller list and her novel ‘Our Little Lies’ also hit number five in the US and number one in Canada’s listings.

Sue’s books are even available in five different languages, including Polish, German and Italian.

Sue, who lives on The Oakalls, said: “When I started writing, I never in my wildest dreams expected to sell a million books.

“None of this would have happened without reviewers, readers and my publishers who supported me all the way, all the way from my light-hearted, sweeter books to my twisted and darker stories.”

Associate publisher at Bookouture Helen Jenner said: “Sue certainly lives up to her bestselling author title and selling over a million copies is testament to just how brilliant she is.”

“Her writing is flawless, her characters are so real, you could almost be sitting down at the table watching their every move, and her twists – well, they will blow you away.”

Helen added she was ‘over the moon’ with Sue’s achievements, adding: “She works so hard and delivers such pulse-pounding books which always get excellent reviews.

“She is a joy to work with and I wish her many, many more milestones.”

Sue’s books are available in paperback, on audio or ebook on Amazon and also on Kobo and iTunes.
