CCTV pictures released of man police want to speak to after unprovoked assault at Bromsgrove nightspot

OFFICERS investigating an unprovoked assault at a licensed premises in Worcester Road, Bromsgrove on May 18 have released CCTV pictures of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

It happened at 3.30am on May 18 while a man in his 20s was on the dancefloor with friends.

He was approached and punched in the face, causing serious facial injuries.

PC Chris Yarwood said: “We are continuing to investigate an unprovoked attack in Worcester Road, Bromsgrove that occurred in the early hours of Saturday 18 May.




“The victim of this horrible attack is recovering well from the surgery he has undergone due to this incident.


“It may seem like a long delay since the incident for us to release the CCTV images, but when new information is presented we act upon this and we would like to ask the public to help us to identify the man in the images.

“We believe the  man pictured may be able to help us with our enquiries and would like to speak to him. If you are the man pictured or know the man pictured please call 101.”

Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 685S of 23 May.
