QUANTITIES of cash were stolen when two shops were broken into – one in Rednal and one in Barnt Green – within 24 hours of each other.
In the first incident a store in Groveley Lane, Rednal, was targeted – that happened overnight between Thursday and Friday.
A day later – overnight between Friday and Saturday – a food shop was broken into in Hewell Road, Barnt Green.
On both occasions the thieves, after gaining access, stole cash from the tills.
