BUSY shoppers at Longbridge High Street were handed homemade cupcakes by the kind staff at Cofton Park Manor Care Home in a bid to improve mental health in the local community.
The gesture was part of a campaign to encourage others to do everyday good deeds such as offering to pick up some groceries for an elderly neighbour or helping a friend get active.
Cofton Parks wellbeing and lifestyle coach Gail Bessent said: “Being kind is so beneficial to everyone and it doesn’t have to cost a lot of money or take a lot of time, we can all do an act of kindness every day.”
