A CHARITY car wash to raised funds for Bromsgrove man Jay Snellus who is battling an incurable brain tumour will take place in the town today.
The event runs from 9am to 5pm at Hydro Blast Surface Restoration, Devon House, Worcester Road.
The diagnosis of the giloblastoma tumour was devastating news to Jay, his partner Maria, and their children.
A fund-raising campaign has been launched to give Jay a normal life as possible and do everything to give him and his family the happiest memories.
The pair are hoping to get married but feel they are running out of time.
A £3,000 target has been set for the campaign and £2,740 has already been collected.
The organisers say the response to the drive from the Bromsgrove people has already been astounding.
And they are hoping drivers will swing by today, get their cars washed and raise funds for the cause.
All proceeds will go Jay and his family.
