MORE than 120 people went along to the coffee morning at Bromsgrove Indoor Bowling Club last Friday where £360 was collected.
Catering director Christine Kelly, who organised the event, said: “Everybody was extremely supportive, either by bringing cake, eating it or donating raffle prizes.
“I was shovelling cake down everybody who came through the door.”
She added she was delighted with the amount collected, adding it showed what a great club they had.
