A CHARITY day will be held next Saturday by Butcher’s Block as it marks its third anniversary on Bromsgrove High Street.
Cash raised will go to two local charities – SOBS (survivors of bereavement of suicide) and the North Worcestershire Basement Project, which helps young people who are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless.
Lil’s Baps will be swap her famous hot food for donations on the High Street during the day and there will be a raffle with prizes including £50 to spend in-store, a bottle of artisan Piston Gin and a £20 voucher for Hairs and Graces salon.
East Midlands singing sensation Lizzy Rushby will be entertaining the crowds with vintage classics during her first public event of the year.
Lilith added: “Lizzy is a well loved and popular performer and the team are very excited to have her perform on the day.”
The all-female butcher’s is run by Lilith and Michelle Holsey-Sheppard.
Lilith said: “Last year surpassed all expectations, so we are hoping we can raise the bar again this year.”
Michelle added: “Both are fantastic local charities and we are really hoping to do them proud.”
