SEVERAL businesses and entrepreneurs gathered for Bromsgrove Business Club’s pre-launch party.
The aim is to create a new monthly business networking event to help build a community between businesses across Worcestershire.
Bevan Edwards, who founded the Bromsgrove Business Club, said: “You have the opportunity to meet some wonderful people and businesses which broadens your horizons.
“So I think the value in that is infinite because it can help spark ideas, help grow and save businesses – that’s invaluable.”
Bevan’s aim for the club is to connect businesses together by running ice breaker sessions and providing a space for businesses to meet with ‘like-minded people’.
At the event, there were public speakers, authors, business owners and bank managers.
One of the people who attended the event was Peter Hill, an ex-dragons den contestant who owns the business Peter the Speaker.
He said: “the thing is, a lot of us in business go online to do our networking online, and many of us have forgotten just how useful it is to actually get out there, meet people and have those interactions.
“It’s good for us – it’s good for our businesses – it’s good for the soul.”
The event is hosted at Bromsgrove Cricket, Hockey and Tennis Club on the last Friday of each month.
