PEOPLE across Bromsgrove are being urged to put a team together to take part in the ‘Mad March Million’ challenge to get themselves fit and raise funds for the town’s Rainy Day Trust charity.

It challenges people to do a million of something throughout this month.

The trust’s CEO Bryan Clover said: “You don’t have to be a mad March hare to take part in the RDT Mad March Million.

“Just put a small team together at work, or maybe family and friends, and walk or run, hop, skip or jump 1million steps in March.”

Participants record the data on their phone each day and then email [email protected] to keep the charity updated with their progress.

A leaderboard will be published to chart how well each team or business is doing.

Entry is £10 and people can get sponsored to boost their funds further with the charity sending them out a water bottle to ensure they stay hydrated throughout their challenge.

Prizes are up for grabs for the teams which notch up the most steps.

To enter email [email protected] with the team name, business (with logo), contact email, number of entrants (£10 per person with each entry) and the fund-raising target.

Call 0800 9154627 or email via the RDT website https://www.rainydaytrust.org.uk/contact-us/ for more information.
