BROMSGROVE’S new multi-million pound leisure centre is set to open its doors on November 27.
Located on School Drive, the Bromsgrove Sports and Leisure Centre (BSLC) will include a climbing wall, swimming pool and state of the art gym.
Run by leisure provider Everyone Active, the centre will replace the the Dolphin Centre built in the 1970s.
Bromsgrove District Councillor Coun Peter Whittaker, whose portfolio covers Leisure, said: “The Dolphin Centre has been an important part of Bromsgrove with generations of youngsters learning to swim there and people enjoying leisure activities over the years.
“But I am delighted that our new Leisure Centre, which has seen investment from Sport England, will be opening later next month – it’s exciting times for the town and our residents.”
