BROMSGROVE’S new Maxi Deals discount store opened its doors in the former Iceland building this morning.
The company has brought between 12 and 15 new jobs to the town.
The town’s Maxi Deals manager Paul Mathers said: ““We are very excited to have finally got a store open in Bromsgrove as we have been trying to get one here for a couple of years.
“Our range is expanding week on week so we will be doing everything we can to bring some great deals to the Bromsgrove community.
“Our friendly store team has done a great job getting the store ready and are looking forward to serving its new customers”
Maxi Deals is a discount variety store covering ranges across food, cold drinks, toiletries, cleaning, pet, homewares and seasonal items.
It also offers an online rewards / loyalty scheme and celebratory opening offers.
Iceland closed its doors in January, redirecting shoppers to its bigger Iceland Warehouse store on the Bromsgrove Retail Park, Birmingham Road.
