DELIVEROO, which launched its food delivery service in Bromsgrove at the start of last month, has revealed the town’s top takeaways since it arrived in the district.
Statistics show Bromsgrovians cannot get enough of chicken with KFC’s boneless banquet the most popular meal ordered.
Next is Subway’s footlong subs with a side order and drink and in third was egg fried rice from Wok Kitchen.
That was followed by mix meat and chips from Sunny’s Frier and the masala dishes from The Mint Lounge.
Saturday evening was the most popular delivery day for Bromsgrove orders with 8.15pm the time most people put in their calls for food.
Many town businesses have signed up with Deliveroo since its arrival and in Bromsgrove, 60 per cent of the restaurants available are local independents, helping to create new revenue streams for homegrown culinary talent.
People can order via the Deliveroo app and diners can schedule deliveries from midday to 11pm in the week and from midday on weekends.
The food delivery company will continue to add new local restaurants, takeaways and convenience stores to the platform over the coming months. If any restaurants or grocers in Bromsgrove are wanting to join Deliveroo, they can apply here to become a partner.
Deliveroo is offering all new customers £10 off their first TWO orders when they use code NEWROOTOWN11 and spend £15 or more per order. The offer for new customers only runs until December 26.
