BOSSES at Bromsgrove’s Ladybird Inn have moved to reassure residents and revellers that the pub is open and trading as usual.
The Standard was contacted regarding rumours circulating on social media about the management team leaving and two events due to be held at the pub – a quiz last night and a networking event this afternoon – were cancelled at short notice.
Messages on the pub’s Facebook paged said the quiz and the networking event had been cancelled due to ‘unforseen circumstances’ and apologised for any inconvenience.
But a spokesperson for the pub said: “We have got some internal HR issues going on at the moment but the running of the pub has not been affected.
“It is business as usual with the same people serving behind the bar who usually serve there.”
