MARKET traders will return to Bromsgrove High Street on Tuesday, June 2, in line with Government safety guidelines.
Initially stalls will open from from 9am to 4pm on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday with shoppers urged to respect the 2m distancing guidelines.
Other measures include sanitising the stalls and tables and stall-holders carrying out Covid-19 risk assessments.
The arrangements will be constantly reviewed.
Bromsgrove District Council Leader Karen May said: “Bromsgrove is historically a market town so I am delighted to see this important part of our heritage return.
“We will be issuing advice on how to safely shop – and sell – at the market but I urge residents and visitors to also do their part to keep each other safe.”
