MEMBERS of Bromsgrove’s Got2Sing choir brewed up £217 last Friday when they held their event, writes Sophie Baram.
There were plenty of cakes on offer at the event and, collectively, Got2sing choirs across the Midlands collected an incredible £2,016.
Cathy Hart, the Bromsgrove choir leader, said it was a fantastic event and a fun way to raise funds.
“I’m not sure our waistlines thank us for it but it turns what is a fun rehearsal anyway into a fantastic social event with lots of money raised for a deserving cause.”
Got2Sing meets between 7.30pm and 9pm every Thursday at St John’s C of E Middle School Academy, Watt Close.
