A TEAM from a Bromsgrove company took part in the Obstacle Colour Rush at Wolverhampton Racecourse to raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester.
Controlaccount’s quartet – Richard Jefferies, Carla, Sean and Jess – had a great time running the 3k and being blasted with powdered paint along the way to bring about a very colourful conclusion.
The company also hosted a cake sale and raffle where colleagues could win a ‘duvet day’ and lunch for two.
Richard Jefferies, Contolaccount’s operations director said: “The event felt like a mix between a competitive run, an obstacle course and a music festival and although I initially resisted taking part, we did have fun.
“The company wanted to support a local charity and St Richard’s Hospice gives so much to the community, providing free hospice care for people living with a life-limiting illness. It really is a life line for many families.”
