THE ANNUAL Big Charity Day will take place at Bromsgrove’s Butcher’s Block on the High Street from tomorrow (Saturday).
As well as raising funds for two good causes – SOBS (Survivors of bereavement of suicide) and Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer – the wife and wife team of Lilith and Michelle Holsey Sheppard will also be celebrating the shop’s fourth birthday which falls on August 3.
Lilith will be back on the market for the day swapping her popular street food for charitable donations.
And there will be a raffle running throughout August with a variety of prizes being donated by Bromsgrove businesses.
FunKtional Fitness Boutique has offered up to three prizes and both Madhatters Tea Rooms and Fludgealicious donated two vouchers each.
Charity fund-raisers Tracey’s Dream And Friends have provided teddy hampers and Michelle and Lilith have a £40 voucher for grabs to spend in store.
Lilith said: “I can’t wait to get cooking again out there – we love putting on this event for charity and we always have so many from the community come down and support.
“With regard to the raffle – we’ve had some great prizes donated so far from local businesses.”
