BROMSGROVE’S Breme Residential Care Home has invited the local community to try its new Dementia Support Group.

The Forget-Me-Not Cafe provides support to people living with the condition, welcoming dementia patients, their carers and family members to share similar experiences or seek advice and guidance.

Cafe organiser, Helen Barron said: “We all have times in our lives when we need a little help and I am not saying we have all the answers, but sometimes all someone needs is to talk and be listened to.

“People just need a little kindness to know they are not on their own and that is what we are here for.”

The cafe had been put together by the team at the Sanctuary Care home.

It will officially open between 11am and 12.30pm tomorrow (Saturday) and will then be open on the last Friday of every month.

There will be cakes and refreshments available.

Call 01527 571320 for more information about the cafe or advice about dementia.
