BROMSGROVE’S annual VJ Day parade will take place at the town’s Burma Star Memorial at Crown Close this Saturday.
The parade will muster from 9.30am at Amphlett Hall and the service will start at 10am.
The event is always held on the closest Saturday to August 15 which will mark the 73rd anniversary of Victory over Japan at the end of the Second World War.
Bromsgrove’s Burma Star is the national memorial for that particular conflict.
