Bromsgrove's All Saints Church set to celebrate its 150th anniversary with multitude of events

THIS WEEKEND sees the start of a month-long programme of events to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Bromsgrove’s All Saints Church, writes Lily Bedford.

Events start with local and internationally renowned musicians beginning the 2024 Summer Concert Series.

It will continue with Oliver Neale, freelance musician and director of music, performing ‘Bach from Bromsgrove’.

At 7pm next Friday, July 5, celebrations continue with an Anniversary Quiz and Beetle Drive.

At 1pm next Saturday, July 6, the church’s second free lunchtime concert, featuring Ashley Wagner playing the Tamburini organ.




At 2.30pm, the church will launch an exhibition showcasing the history and artefacts of the church, the creative flair of Bromsgrove schoolchildren and local artists.

The church will remain open from 2.30pm to 5pm from Monday to Friday, July 8 to 12.


As well as feature artwork from Meadows First School and Lickey End First School.

Local artists will also display a small selection of their work.

The majority of the celebration events are taking place during July with highlights later in the month including a Celebratory Organ Recital, Bromsgrove Festival Eucharist and a summer fayre.
