BROMSGROVE firm AFH Wealth Management has raised £26,331 for Birmingham Women’s Hospital Charity after completing a variety of challenges throughout the year.
The staff at the financial advice firm in Stoke Heath more than doubled their original £12,000 fundraising target set last December.
Among the activities were bake sales, raffles, a family fun day, marathons, a ‘wing walk’, cycling events and even a 12-hour game-athon.
A group of 16 employees also completed a sunrise hike in Snowdon in April.
AFH people engagement and experience manager, Jenny Read, said: “We’re incredibly proud to have raised a record-breaking total for the Women’s Hospital this year. Working hard and having fun is an important part of the culture here at AFH, and our charity events really help to bring the office together.”
