A WOMEN’S wellbeing group in Bromsgrove has shared its gratitude for being awarded a grant from a regional developer.
Gather and Grow who provide a safe and comfortable environment for women across Bromsgrove to walk, talk and cultivate friendships has received £500 from Taylor Wimpey’s Community Chest competition.
Taylor Wimpey North Midlands is building new homes at Sanders View at Perryfields and invited residents in and around Bromsgrove to vote for a local cause or charity to receive a helping hand.
Gather and Grow received the most nominations after continuing to support local women in combating loneliness and helping them feel more connected, confident, and healthy.
Siobhan Crowther and Danielle Ward, founders of Gather and Grow, said they were ‘incredibly grateful for Taylor Wimpey’s donation and for all of the nominations received.
They added: “This money has had such a big impact on the women in our group and what we have been able to organise and provide for them.
“It was lovely to meet the team at Sanders View at Perryfields and to be able to thank them personally for such a kind donation.”
Sanders View is one aspect of the Perryfields development which encompasses plans for over 400 homes in Catshill.
