Bromsgrove Tennis Club hoping for net gains with its perfect socially distanced sport

ANYONE for tennis? That’s the question being posed by Bromsgrove Tennis Club which is offering playing opportunities in one of the most ‘social distancing-friendly’ sports.

Tennis is one of the few sports allowed under the current regulations and the club on St Godwald’s Road, Aston Fields, has a variety of sessions for all levels – from complete beginners to tennis experts and coaching available.

All the social distancing and interaction guidance given by the Government and the LTA is strictly followed to ensure everyone can enjoy tennis safely.

The club house and toilets are currently closed and will re-open in line with official guidance.

Head coach James Griffiths said: “We’re delighted tennis is now allowed and encourage anyone who fancies playing to join Bromsgrove Tennis Club.

“It’s the perfect sport for this time of year to keep fit and have fun.

“It’s cheaper than the gym and a lot more fun than jogging.

“And with the summer holidays coming up, it’s also a great way to keep the kids entertained.”

Anyone interested in coaching should email James at [email protected] or message [email protected] for more on joining Bromsgrove Tennis Club.
