A BROMSGROVE teenager is having 12 inches of her hair cut to help children who lose theirs through treatment for cancer and other illnesses, writes Harry Gibbons.
Morgan Smith’s locks will face the chop next Friday, December 22, and the 16-year-old is also hoping to raise £500 for the Little Princess Trust.
She said: “I’m really excited for my hair to hopefully make a difference in a child’s life, especially at Christmas time.”
The hair will be used to make real hair wigs to give free to a child who has lost their own hair through treatment.
The cash raised will help cover the costs of giving out the wigs and to fund research into developing less toxic treatments for illnesses.
