Bromsgrove street's art to say 'thank you' to frontline NHS staff and other key workers

RESIDENTS in Bromsgrove’s Walton Road have been showing their appreciation for NHS frontline staff and other key workers with some impressive artwork in the street.

The hearts, rainbows and the words ‘NHS heroes’ have been painted on the road using a water-based paint.

Resident Dawn Alsop said: “We have a lot of frontline workers living in Walton Road, including nurses, other hospital staff, firefighters and funeral directors and we thought this would be a great way to honour them and let them know how much we appreciate what they are doing.

“I have had some really good feedback with people saying it had brightened up their days when they have left to go and work on the frontline or when they returned after a busy shift.”
