BROMSGROVE Sporting Veterans lifted the Central Warwickshire Over 35’s Football League Division One title, losing just one game all season.
Sporting won 12 of their 14 matches to end the season on 37 points, nine points clear of nearest challengers Solihull Sporting.
Bromsgrove lifted the trophy after a 2-1 win against Hampton at the Victoria Ground last weekend as Junior Hewitt struck twice to secure a come from behind victory.
The Vets only defeat came back in September and are currently on an 18-game unbeaten run in all competitions.
And Sporting have the chance to complete a league and cup double when they play Aston Rangers Veterans Red in the final of the Division One Cup on Sunday, May 15 with kick-off at 10.30am at Highgate United FC.
