BROMSGROVE Sporting have been charged by the FA after smoke bombs were set off at Wisbech Town in the last round of the FA Vase.
The Rouslers are likely to receive a fine for the isolated incidents.
And the club have been told if they are found guilty of letting off ‘pyrotechnics’ at Thatcham Town on Saturday the punishment could be more severe.
The ultimate sanction would be Sporting thrown out of the FA Vase altogether.
Following the charge, manager Paul Smith has appealed to fans attending the match in Berskhire this weekend to leave any smoke bombs or flares at home.
“It would be a disaster for us to win the match then get thrown out of the competition because of the behaviour of a few over-zealous fans,” he said.
