NEW teams are being sought to take part in a six-a-side league in Bromsgrove on a Sunday evening.
Matches are played on the 3G pitch at South Bromsgrove High School and the league is affiliated to the FA.
Qualified referees officiate the games which take place over 40 minutes.
The weekly fee is £4-per-player and each team plays one match each week.
Fixtures and tables are on the league’s website and are updated weekly.
More than 100 players take part weekly and any standard of player or team is welcome.
People can sign up as a team or an individual players who teams will be found for.
There is also a ‘Veterans/over 35s’ division.
Soccersixes league manager Danny Auckland said: ‘We are proud to provide a successful community event in the area on a weekly basis and also assist in increasing participation in football.
“Many players attend and over the years it has become more popular.”
Anyone over 16 can play in the league which has been praised for providing a safe and friendly environment where people can play the Beautiful Game.
