YOUNGSTERS from Bromsgrove Pre-Prep and Bromsgrove Preparatory School have joined forces to help others through the 52 Lives charity.
The charity aims to inspire people to do something to spread hope and kindness to at least 52 people, or one for each week of the year.
They choose someone in need and encourage supporters to spread the word and offer help, and they work with thousands of children every year through their School of Kindness campaign, running free workshops for schoolchildren across the UK.
Bromsgrove year two and three pupils took part in a workshop over Zoom at the Prep School where they learned more about the charity and how they help others.
Following the workshop, pupils created unique ‘Kindness cards’ in pairs to send to Amina, a girl who was being helped by the charity that week.
The cards and messages have been sent off and they are awaiting a response from Amina when she receives them.
The charity aims to show youngsters how the small choices they make every day have the power to change the world, whilst improving their own physical and mental health.
