Bromsgrove Rock School to take to the stage in Stoke Prior tomorrow

Bromsgrove Editorial 6th Jul, 2019

A GROUP of young musicians from Bromsgrove Rock School will perform at Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club tomorrow (Sunday, July 7), writes Ben Tolley.

Students have had a busy summer schedule performing in front of large crowds at The Blackwell Music Festival and the Primrose summer fete.

All members are aged between 11 and 18 years and meet every Saturday morning at St John’s Middle School.

The group is supported by professional musician Brian Hoggard, guitarist Loz Ruston and vocal coach Givvi Flynn.

Songs being performed on Sunday will include ‘Radioactive’ by Imagine Dragons and ‘Seven Nation Army’ by The White Stripes.

Phoebe Gates and Storm Cox will be performing some of their own music.

The doors will open at 5.30pm and the concert will start at 6pm, lasting around an hour-and-a-half.

Admission is free but donations are requested towards the rock school.

Call Brian on 07720 211002 or email him at for more information on the school.
