A REFUSE crew from Bromsgrove has been busy in Worcester helping out the city council’s colleagues so the household rounds could continue.
Commercial recycling driver Darryl and the rest of his team were there for a couple of days.
He said: “Don’t worry, we will still be emptying your bins as normal – we are just pulling together and using our resources wisely.”
And the crew received praise from Bromsgrove District Council leader Coun Karen May.
She said: “This is a great example of how our teams are pulling together, not just across our own frontline services, but to help out our colleagues too.”
