A TOTAL of five Bromsgrove and Droitwich businesses have been recognised regionally in the Worcestershire tourism awards.
Visit Worcestershire received a record 111 entries from attractions to self-catering accommodation across 13 individual categories.
The best of Worcestershire’s produce and food scene was selected and developed into a bespoke menu for the evening.
Paul Robinson, chief executive of Worcestershire County Council said: “The Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards act as the perfect opportunity to celebrate the county’s visitor economy.
“Worcestershire’s diverse offering lures visitors from across the country who are seeking short breaks, amazing experiences and great places to visit.
“The success of the event gives Worcestershire a platform at a national level with finalists set to be recognised at the VisitEngland Awards of Excellence. Congratulations to all winners and highly commended.”
Aztec Adventure have won the Small Visitor Attraction of the Year award and the Winner of Winners award.
They were also highly commended in Experience of the Year category.
Crossbrook Farm Historic Estate was highly commended in the Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year category.
Churchfields Farm were highly commended in the Small Visitor Attraction of the Year award and All’Angelo, Droitwich were highly commended in the Taste of Worcestershire Award.
The Hadley Bowling Green took home the B&B and Guest House of the Year Award and The Hadley Bowling Green won Pub of the Year.
