Bromsgrove Photographic Society uses empty high street building for stunning display

Harry Leach 18th Dec, 2020

BROMSGROVE Photographic Society has brightened up the town’s high street by displaying stunning pictures inside an empty building.

Pictures of wildlife, nature and also general portraits can be seen in the window of number 67.

A Society spokesperson said: “We have close links with Bromsgrove, having run our group in the area for 70 years.

“We wanted to help to bring something dynamic to the high street which would grab the attention of people passing by.

“It’s far nicer to look at beautiful photographs, some of which have won a number of competitions, than to look at the whitewashed windows of empty stores.”

The group is planning to update and replace the photographs with new ones over the coming days and weeks.

Even though members are not able to attend either the early novice session or the main meetings physically, they still meet virtually over video platform Zoom.

If you would like to know more about Bromsgrove Photographic Society or would like to tell the group what you think of the display, email or visit
