A MAN has been injured in a hit and run in Bromsgrove.
The pedestrian – a man in his 20s – was hit by a car on Byron Way, Catshill, around 12pm today (Monday).
The man was taken to hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
The car which hit him was a black Ford. The model is not known but officers think the vehicle would have sustained a dented bonnet.
After striking the pedestrian it drove off towards Blake Road.
PC Michael Smith said: “The driver clearly knows they have hit a pedestrian and failed to stop at the scene of the collision– I would urge them to come forward.”
He urged any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage prior to the collision to call him on 101, extension 773 3407.
Alternatively, email PC Smith at [email protected] or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
