BROMSGROVE MP Sajid Javid will host his sixth annual Jobs Fair online due to new lockdown restrictions.
Jobseekers will have the chance to attend online workshop events, or drop in to a virtual call with employers on Zoom.
The November 27 fair aims to help people looking for employment in the town, with both local and national businesses offering opportunities.
Last year’s record-breaking fair saw more than 1000 people attend the event, with over 70 businesses offering thousands of career opportunities.
Mr Javid said: “This is a challenging period, particularly for those looking for work and training opportunities but I am determined to help in any way that I can.
“Although I am unable to host the event in person this year, I am pleased to be hosting an online event in which businesses and jobseekers can meet.
“Whether you’re looking for a job that’s full time, part time, a change of career or an apprenticeship, I would be delighted to see you at the fair.”
The event will run from 10am to 12pm and a full list of exhibitors will be available on Mr Javid’s website closer to the time.
