MEMBERS of Bromsgrove Liberal Democrats rallied together to support the work of the Basement Project.
Campaigners donated food parcels to help families and young people in need this Christmas.
Bromsgrove Liberal Democrats’ Cherry Sherriff said: “The Basement Project is fantastic local charity providing support to homeless and potentially homeless young people.
“At this time of year many of us meet up with family and friends to celebrate Christmas and the new year in the warmth, but we must not forget those who are not so lucky this time of year.
“That is why I am grateful to local party activists for putting together to donate to The Basement Project and why I am so proud of the fantastic volunteers the charity has.”
Cherry also urged local residents to get involved and donate to the fantastic charity if they can.
The Basement Project provides support to young people in Bromsgrove and across North Worcestershire who are facing homelessness or are in need all year round.
