A BROMSGROVE housing provider has announced the appointment of a new director among its ranks.
Bromsgrove District Housing Trust (BDHT) has appointed Lisa Martin as its new director of resources.
An ACCA-qualified accountant, Lisa boasts more than 30 years’ finance experience and more than 20 years’ social housing experience.
She has joined bdht from Elim Housing Association where she was group finance director for four years and director of resources for just over two.
Supported by a 20-strong team, Lisa is responsible for delivering the strategic objectives of bdht’s finance, IT and governance departments, as well as contributing to the positive and empowering culture of the organisation.
“There’s a lot happening within the sector right now, especially since the change in Government.
“The pace of industry developments is rapid, and it’s essential we are clear about what the current national priorities are, how they are filtering down and shaping our ongoing transformation agenda and future direction, and the financial implications of it all. It’s crucial we deliver the right priorities in the right order and that we are meeting our legal obligations at all times,” Lisa added.
